Spend the morning seeing Boston by water and by land on-board the famous Boston Duck Tour. Put the "ivy" in Ivy League and set off for a walking tour of the prestigious Harvard University led by one of its very own students. Then, spend the rest of your day walking in the footsteps of Boston's brave ancestors or visit Faneuil Marketplace for some of the city's delicious clam chowder before heading downtown for a Regional Meal at a local restaurant.

Enjoy some free time to relax in "Beantown" this morning. Then it's time to play ball at the home of the Red Sox. Dash up Yawkey Way and into the hallowed grounds of Fenway Park, the oldest stadium in Major League Baseball dating back to 1912. Imagine yourself playing with baseball legends like Williams and Yaz. Baseball fever running through your veins, head to the Big Apple, travelling through the pretty Connecticut countryside toward New York City. Tonight, embrace New Yorkers' love for "pie" and tuck into a pizza party Regional Meal. Don't be afraid to practice your "fold hold" and eat one-handed like the locals do.

Look out Hudson River. The BEAST is headed your way for a thrilling speedboat ride to rocking music at maximum speed. Zoom and zip to Lady Liberty, the beacon of freedom that welcomed thousands of immigrant families. Pay a visit to the Freedom Tower and reflect on the tragic day that reverberated across the globe. Take a bite or two out of the Big Apple before joining your Travel Director for a stroll along the 1883 Brooklyn Bridge, one of the most famous icons on New York's skyline and the 'road' to trendy Brooklyn where you'll enjoy an afternoon snack at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory located in a converted 1922 Fireboat House. The magical Manhattan skyline is yours to explore this evening.

The curtain closes on your Big Apple show and rises in the City of Brotherly Love. Lace up your running shoes and race Rocky Balboa-style up the 72 steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The colours and delicious smells of the Reading Terminal Market greet you where culinary options abound for lunch at leisure. You can almost hear the voices of the city's famous past, as you arrive at the UNESCO-listed Independence Hall. Walk in the footsteps of America's founding fathers and see the birthplace of the Constitution and where the Declaration of Independence was first read to the tolling of the Liberty Bell. While dinner is technically on your own tonight, we'll provide the transportation for families who wish to visit the corner of 9th and Passyunk for the best cheesesteak sandwiches in Philly.

Our final stop today is Gettysburg where tonight we'll share a Regional Meal at The Dobbin House Tavern.

You can almost smell the gunpowder and hear Pickett's charge on Gettysburg Battlefield where you'll join a Local Specialist who will bring to life this horrific battle that is widely regarded as a turning point of the Civil War. The story of Gettysburg continues with a visit to the National Military Park Museum to view centuries-old relics of the Civil War before you head for the nation's capital of Washington, D.C. for the rest of the afternoon. The whole family will enjoy a visit to the National Air and Space Museum or take a selfie with Fala, the photo-friendly pooch at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. As the sun sets on Capitol Hill, you could choose to watch the sweep of the country's most famous monuments and memorials light up.

Step aside secret agents, it's time to crack open the underbelly of the CIA, NSA, KGB and 007 during this morning's visit to the International Spy Museum, featuring the largest collection of international espionage artefacts ever placed on public display. Spend the afternoon together unpacking the chapters of America's history on your own. This evening, blow your cover and join newfound friends to share the highlights of your historic adventure at a Farewell Dinner served at a local restaurant.
