Nairobi – Aberdare National Park Area (2 Nights)

This morning 'Connect with Locals' at the Shangilia Childrens Home, a leading centre for street and orphaned children. Make a Difference with your visit, which contributes to the home's efforts to transform the lives of vulnerable street children. Consider joining an Optional Experience in Aberdare National Park in search of the black rhino and Colobus moneys that find sanctuary within its virgin forest.

Solio Game Reserve Excursion

We embark on a half-day exploration of the privately owned wildlife conservancy that is Solio Game Reserve, renowned as the most successful rhino breeding reserve in Kenya. Returning to Abedare, we embark on a guided bird walk with a Local Specialist before sunset, keeping your eyes peeled for European rollers, flycatchers and birds of prey, such as eagles, owls and Montagu's harriers as they settle down for the night.

Aberdare National Park Area – Lake Nakuru National Park

Have your camera ready for a photo stop at the spectacular Thomson's Falls before we connect with the soul of Africa's Great Rift Valley and visit the bird watcher's paradise that is Lake Nakuru National Park. Join your Driver Guide for an afternoon game drive to spot pink flamingos lining the lakeshore and traverse its expansive plains in search for a lion, and leopard, among other species.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

As the sun rises, navigate Lake Nakuru National Park's landscapes on a morning 4x4 game drive. Immerse yourself in the sounds and smells of the bush - the damp scents of the surrounding savannah and cheery calls of birds a stirring backdrop for an unforgettable safari experience. Journey to Lake Naivasha for lunch and enjoy a boat ride in search of the resident hippo.

Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara (2 Nights)

Venture across the Great Rift Valley to the savannah wilderness of Kenya's Maasai Mara National Reserve, whose promise of some of the best game viewing in the world attracts safari enthusiasts the world over. After check-in, join a Local Specialist for an immersive guided nature walk to gain insights into the surrounding flora and fauna, perfectly rounded off with a traditional sundowner drink.

Maasai Mara Full Day Safari

Roam amongst the wildlife that find sanctuary in Maasai Mara's wilderness, joining a Local Specialist for a full-day safari to seek out the Big 5. 'Dive into Culture' during a visit to a Maasai cultural boma and test your jumping prowess, then meet the village elder to gain in-depth insights into the daily life of this colourfully clad tribe. Later, indulge in a bush picnic - the sounds of the bush the perfect accompaniment while you keep your eyes peeled for the flash of resident Bee-eaters, Rollers and Hoopoes flitting from tree to tree.

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Descend hundreds of metres to the floor of the vast Ngorongoro Crater, to explore its forests in search of elephant, lion and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch served in the crater before your late afternoon transfer to your overnight lodge set in the foothills of the Ngorongoro Highland Forest.

Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara

Delve into Swahili culture and cuisine this morning as you 'Dive in Culture' during lunch at Mto wa Umbu village with its local farms, school, nyombas, market and milling machines. We then have an afternoon game drive through Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Our home for the evening is in traditional bandas or bungalows which overlook Lake Manyara.

Lake Manyara – Tarangire National Park

Enjoy a game drive in Tarangire National Park past battalions of baobab trees, scouting for vast herds of elephants. Then indulge in sundowner drinks on your raised deck overlooking the African wilderness.

Tarangire National Park – Arusha – Depart Kilimanjaro

Our epic journey culminates with lunch at The Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre, before we catch our final transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for our outbound flight.
