Enjoy a walking tour in Troyes, capital of the Champagne region, and enter Burgundy. Two nights in Château de Chailly in Pouilly-en-Auxois allow for excursions to the picturesque towns of Dijon and Beaune, where a wine tasting at the famous Marché Aux Vins to try out the various Burgundy wines is included. Continue to the French Alps and stay in the famous ski resort of Chamonix, where a traditional Fondue Savoyarde awaits you at Chamonix’s most popular Brasserie de l’M. Via Aix-les-Bains and Chambéry, join the famous Route Napoleon and enjoy spectacular views of the Alps. Stop in Grasse to visit Fragonard’s perfume factory and learn about the art of perfume-making, then arrive in Cannes on the Côte d’Azur for your 2-night stay. Two nights in Périgueux allow you to either relax and explore its medieval center, or take exciting optional excursions before continuing to Bordeaux, where you board the high-speed first-class TGV train to Paris. Your vacation concludes with a special farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
